Who manages the development of the EU Eco-label scheme?
The Commission of the European Communities launches the procedure either itself or at the request of the EUEB (European Union Eco-Labelling Board), which comprises the certification bodies (competent bodies) in the various European countries and the advisory forum (representing the stakeholders, i.e. SMEs, artisans and their professional organisations, trade unions, traders, retailers, importers, environmental protection groups, and consumer organisations).
